Only 24 kms from the mainland, Inhaca can be reached by boat, ferry or
light aircraft. The island has plenty to offer. Explore the long white
beaches, camp at Santa Maria or on the Portuguese Island opposite the
hotel and visit the museum at the biological research station. There are
areas on the island where the fauna and marine life are protected.
You can fill days snorkelling and diving along the reefs, fishing or
simply relaxing at the hotel pool side. A good place to spend a not so far
weekend away.
The recently refurbished hotel is a comfortable and well-situated
establishment. Of the 40 rooms, some have hot water, other do not, but all
have fans.
